Well we went for our OB-GYN appointment today, and we finally heard the baby's heartbeat...what a sweet sound that was. The doctor commented on how active the baby sounded on the doppler...moving around so much he had trouble finding the heartbeat at first.
The doctor also put our minds at ease about the Fragmin injections. Ever since our hospital tour, I have been terrified that I was doing harm to the baby with the injections, thanks to the nurse at the hospital. She led me to believe that the shots were going to do damage to the baby, but Dr Bologna assured me that 3 doctors wouldn't have put me on Fragmin if it would harm the baby, and that the reason they chose Fragmin was because it is the only blood thinner that won't get through the placenta.
All in all, a great day for baby L !! We can't wait for 3 more weeks until the "BIG" ultrasound ...maybe we will know if it's a girl or a boy!! ( my bets are on a girl...)
