Gabriel has the croup.
Croup is an infection usually caused by one of the cold viruses. Croup causes the trachea (windpipe) and larynx (voice box) to swell. This infection usually lasts 5 to 6 days and is more common during the winter months and early spring.
My little boy sounds so sick. He is still in remarkably good spirits, but his breathing is just terrible. We when to the after hours clinic today, and got a prescription for an anti inflammatory to help get the swelling down in his throat, so I hope he will be feeling better for Christmas!
